On this path, you determine that you do not like to be dependent on other people and situations for anything. After four years, you have income from passive and portfolio sources that meets or exceeds your current expenses. After four years of hard work, I guess you can retire! All the better, I suppose... saving for your retirement would have just been a distraction anyway.

The above story is my story. It took me many years of pulling my hair out and beating my head against the wall. Many years of learning the wrong things and focusing on the wrong things. Many years of struggling with my poor determination and my poor mental attitude, which I had not even been aware of. I had to understand, than overcome, the many systems of dependency that exist for everyone out there.
I can only imagine where I would be today if, ten years ago, I had stumbled upon a website with all of the pieces of the puzzle. In this unique resource, I have attempted to do just that.
